None of the companies have successfully DELIVERED on what has been PROMISED in their ADS. They all need to be HAULED to court and give damages to customers. ANY OTHER country we would seen TRAI like body taking stringent action but looks like they have been bought over (like everything else in India) by these big companies.
Tell me which company delivers on what broadband speed they promise.
I have BSNL and Relaince datacard. BSNL promises 256 KBPS but I get 30 KBPS!!
Reliance gives me 300 KBPS sometimes…sometimes 1.2 MbPS. BUT NEVER 3.1 MBPS as Promised. And I was fed up with Airtel and shifted to BSNL!! One is worse than the other!!!
I have not seen this kind of problem in other countries where I lived. The prob is in or SHITTY BASIC INFRASTRUCTURE which we have been deprived of since the last 60 years. And LACK OF RESPECT for customers. Just look at our signals, roads, pavements, etc. CRAP!!
All companies have learnt and got away by treating consumers like SHIT….be it TATA Sky, BIG, Pharma companeis, consumer prodcs, electronics, Builders, restaurants and what have you. We get cheated EVERYWHERE like SUCKERS and most of us don't bother about it. ( I DO).

Hi All,

On 29th Aug. 2009 we had booked IPTV Connection Application Number : xxxx of BSNL(MYWAY) Product from SMART DIGIVISION PVT LTD, PUNE OF BSNL. We paid them Cheque Amt: Rs1, 000/- and as per their words Installation will be done before 31st Aug.2009. They even told me that if we are not happy with the Connection they will refund that amount in two days. But till today there is no Connection nor they are refunding my amount.

I am trying to put many complaints on them but there is no response till now. I have experienced very poor customer service.

So think twice before putting your money for MyWay IP TV connection.

i am having dishtv connection .we are having two connections on single dish but having two different set top boxes . my renewal is due and i want to renew the connections, but your local dealer is saying that even if i deposit for gold pack for both connections i will get silver pack connection on one connection and gold pack portion on second connection because they are connected with one dish. please clarify why when previously i was geting all channels on both connections and even now i am paying for both connections ie Rs.210 for each connection.

We have installed this Sun Direct Dish in our house t Bangalore in mid Sept 2008. That too we had to remind the concerned persons many times before they installed it. It worked for a few days and it was good- really good. But after that every two or three days there is a problem. It stops working and the red light keeps glowing on the Set top Box. We cotact the authorised Sun Direct Service Provider at Indiranagat, Bangalore (No 5650) who promise to send immediately but take their own time - sometimes two days and that too after reminding them several times on the telephone. I thin we have been given an unserviceable Set Top Box. Can this be resolved so that my family can view the channels without disturbance. Thanking you,

1. Inspite of reassurance no action has been taken on my complaint. SMS from Dish TV is sent as attachment to show that my subscription was valid up 12 Jul’08 for my three connection (one parent & two add ons). Also 10% discount is applicable in my case as mentioned in the SMS & the three bills sent to you earlier as attachments.
Since I have paid the subscription for one year it becomes effective after the expiry of my previous subscription i.e. from 12 Jul’08 to 12 Jul’09 (as also mentioned in the three bill).
2. It is ,therefore NOT understood why “my dish space ” on my VC number-01504532297(parent), shows the renewal date as 23 /06/ 2009. It should read as 12 /07/09.Please make the correction and obilige.Also entries should be made in my ‘add on’ connections viz. VC Number- 01504532267, & VC Number-01504532266.
3. I shall be grateful ,if you make immediate corrections on my three Viewing Cards at the earliest. All documents in the said connection have been forwarded as attachments.The problem is simple and it appears to be the result of apathy on part of the staff. Please do the needful. I do NOT expect one of Indias’ Great MNC responding like the
staff in a Govt. Office!!

Dear Sir,
1. Three STB’s wera purchased by me on 12 July,07. Bills are forwarded as attachment 1 & 2. Before the expiry of the one year warranty, I approached customer Care on tele-4443474 for AMC for a period for one year w.e.f. 12 July’08. They promised to send their AMC Franchise to me . One Mr Anuj from Kay Dee Audiovision visited me on 04 July’08 and said that he had come for the AMC contract as requested by me.
2. The AMC receipt is sent as attachment three. The purchase bill was shown to Mr Anuj and he was asked to enter the duration of the AMC to commence after expiry of the warranty period i.e. with effect from 12 July’08 to 12 July ‘09. He said ,they had the details and had no authority to write the duration of the contract period on the receipt.He only wrote the concerned STB numbers. Since all reference to Dish connections is through their Viewing Cards, I asked him to enter the VC numbers on the bill, which he did after great thought. The receipt does not bear the logo of Dish TV.However, I took a chance and paid Rs 1200/- for AMC of the three STB’s.For any problem, Mr Anuj had told me to ring up the tele numbers given on the receipt and their technician would come for assistance. There was no requirement, he said ,to approach the Customer Care of Dish TV for maintenance since I have now taken THE AMC.
3. On 16 July’08, I had a problem with my TV Set with viewing card number 01504532267 ( certains channels were showing error as No signal found). I rung at tele number as gven on the AMC receipt at 1030 hours onwards. There was no response till 1115 hours when one Mrs Sharma told me that their office opens at 1100 hours only & secondly, she gave another contact number -9958992033, for my problem. She also said that the person on that mobile number will do the needful and I need not ring her up again. I informed her the AMC receipt mentioned the numbers that I had rung. She was extremely rude & shouted on the telephone ‘to ring the contact number given by her or get lost’ or words to that effect. I told her not to be rude and note my complaint. Mrs Sharma declined and banged the tele.
4. With no alternative, left I dialled mob -9958992033. One Mr Hemant answered. On being told the problem, he directed me to register my complaint with Customer Care (C C). I rung C C and spoke to Mr Sumeet who registered my complaint but gave no reference number. Later I again spoke to Mr Hemant who agreed to send the technician. Mr Ahmed,the technician, came at 1600 hours on 16 July’08. He examined the problem and said that it was an aligmment problem which he would attend at 1100 hours on 17 July’08. Since he did not come till 1 P.M., I rang on tele 9958992033 when one Mr Tej Narian answered. He was not aware of my complaint and was about to give me another contact number. I thought enough was enough . I have been duped of Rs 1200/- by a person carrying receipt book of Kay Dee Audiovisions Pvt Ltd.
5. You are kindly requested to confirm that the said company are your Franchise or Not. If they are not then A Police Complaint should be lodged by you. And ,if they are, then they have no right to insult the customers of Dish TV and told to go about their job earnestly. Kindly let me know the status of my AMC and direct the people who are responsible to attend to my complaint, if the AMC receipt is genuine.
6. This complaint comes on the heels of another complaint regarding validity of the renewal period, which has still NOT been resolved.
7. From the above one thing is evident that the Franchise of Dish TV for various jobs is being given to people without expertise, infrastructure or basic management skills. I hope some body WHO REALLY CARES IN THE CUSTOMER CARE looks into my complaints which have been backed with all documents.I do not expect a stock reply to my query!
8. AN EARLY ACTION IS REQUESTED.

To my surprise, my old outstanding was shown Rs 1300 (approx)when the payment of a package is pre-paid. it merits to mention that cost of new dish set with one year maxi package is only 3990/- I feel that my undue payment of my old connection is unwarranted and therefore be waived off so that I can revive my connection with new maxi package. In absence of that I will be compelled to knock the door of other companies for purchase of new dish set.

You dint mentioned that you have taken STB from India and then got the connection here. You should have been clear about it earlier. From india now its more cheaper as STB is free. I had said it costs 1200 if you buy all here. I am sorry if i have been rude.

I say the installation cost is 550Dirhams, becos i own a connection that cost me 550dirhams(approx). from INDIA i took the STB after activation with 8months free subscription. The STB with antenna costs me 290 Dirhams, when i took to dubai, i can’t use the same dish, so i found a technician who said i need a bigger dish. another dish 4feet approx with technician labor, he asked me 350dirhams, after some bargaining i gave a good ransom. now the total cost of ownership stood at some where 550 to 575 Dirhams, its 6months old now i forgot the exact figure.
I don’t have to give you proof for the same, I mentioned it here as a token of information. im not a person leaving ads & email here to make money. Its up to you to take it or not.
Its better you reduce your voice (you quoted,”ELSE PLEASE KEEP QUITE”), its not ethical to voice like this. we are here to create a positive impact not to confront with others. let me just stop posting in this blog. its quite odd to see your message unscreened.

Is it possible to view tata sky channels in Mozambique or South Africa ? As i can see Tata Sky is transmited through Insat 4 A 83.Oº E satelite, if we go to the satelite tracker it gives the LLL which seems possible to see in some countries around India, i dont know really if it is possible or if anyone have tryed it ! If anyone can let me know technically if it is possible i would appreciate very much.

I booked for SUN DTH to avail the offer of Rs.999/-(Dish + setup box + 2 months free)some where in the month end of December 2007. But the set was deliverd to me only at the end of February 2008.The installation of the same was properly completed on 15th of March 2008. But service was disconnected on 24th of April 2008 (only 40 days) before the completion of 2 months period as assured by SUN DTH. This is merely a cheating. Can the customer care officers will do the needful to rectify the problem and ensure that I get my service for another 20 days for which I have already paid, orelse reimburse my money back and I am no more in need of the service.(My SIM CARD No.4100 9386 362R)

Quite disgusted by the antics of TataSky, I am constrained to send this legal notice to you.
My subscriber ID is .
On the 24th of March, 2008, I put in a sum of Rs500 in my account vide prepaid card no. . I now see a notice on my TV screen warning me that my subscription will be cut off immediately unless I renew my account immediately.
This has been happening to me on each of the last three occasions that I have renewed my subscription. First an acknowledgement comes at the end of the call I make to the TataSky Helpline (please note that the number of the Helpline given on the prepaid chargecards, even on the one under reference above, is useless and out of service, and I have had to call another number that I have managed to fish out on an earlier occasion from a source I cannot recall now), the a notice comes in "Reminders" on the TV threatening to cut off my service unless I renew immediately, I call or write to TataSky, and then another notice emerges, telling me that I have a surplus balance in my favour, and that my account is valid till a particular date. Then, after a week or more, after I may be thought to have lost my last prepaid chargecard, a notice comes, threatening to cut off service. A has happened once again and has prompted this notice.
The yellow reminders icon stays on the screen at all times, disturbing my viewing pleasure.
Please note that I shall proceed in the District Consumer Forum at New Alipore, which has jurisdiction, without further notice to you for compensation against your harassment.
