i got my DishTV STB firmware updated yday. The UI look is good. The picture got crisper. Though there are pro’s, there are cons too. The old softwrae was made with correspond to the remote. Now this new software disables some good features in the remote viz. Pausing the Picture, Zoom, etc. The lower part of the remote now became unneccesary. Five buttons are dead.
All can be done by entering the Main Menu. Bettter to say Linux became Windows (analogically). All shortcuts on the remote have vanished and use the software to get ur job done. Time consuming.
