I suggest everybody to shift to TataSky

Hi Friends,

I am viewing dish tv channels fine. No problem to-date with the service. But signal quality is not great.
My complaint is about their customer service.
I wanted to pay my monthly bill with credit cards. So I have applied for "webaccess" through their website about 2 weeks back. Till date I haven't recieved any user id and password to access the site to pay!
After 5 days I contacted them through their websites contact form and complained about it. But no response yet. After 2 more days I sent an email to them (customerinfo@dishtvindia.com) and explained the problem.
I have given my rediffmail id for the registration. So I thought that maybe a problem of rediffmail which filtered the mails from dishtv as spam. So I requested them 3 times to send my user id and password to another email id. No response yet!

I don't know what those assholes in the customer service centre are doing? They don't even respond to a customer? I contacted them now more than 5 times!
Great service from Indias first and shit DTH providers.

I suggest everybody to shift to TataSky. I heard their signal and picture qualities are great. Nice service also.

NEVER EVER GO FOR DISH TV UNLESS YOU TRAPPED ALREADY.

but aneesh let me tell you, tata sky suc big time, i have both tata sky & dishtv at my place, their si a delay in transmission from tatasky, big time actiavtion issue, i got it installed in nov from pragati maidan, firstly i was commited that it will be insatlled in 2 days, installation happened after 4 days & channels started coming after another 3days.

i think people are jsut waistingtheir time on this, iw as told 200 as sub charges now the same has been increased to 300 without notice.

my opinuinoi: tata sky is a big liar.

Tata Sky Service is like HELL. Tata Sky People are Cheats.

My experience with Tata Sky has also been very bad. I purchased Tata Sky set in Oct 2006 from a dealer in Noida. My Subscriber ID is 1000116089. Installation took place after many reminders. After 2 months, Remote Controller of the Set Top box stopped functioning. I registered complaint with Tata Sky Call Centre on 8th January, 2007 vide Complaint No. 1-20491789. I was told that within 24 hours an executive will give me a call and attend the problem. However, till date (26th January, 2007) nobody from Tata Sky has cared to solve the problem and replace the faulty remote. Since 8th Jan, 07 I have called them atleast a dozen times, and beleive me, every time you call their so called tall free no. ( 19014256633) & other STD No. (0172-66006633) they put you through a harrowing experience. Every time they made me hold up the line for at least 15 minutes. At the end, they would give the same hollow assurance that a new remote would be sent next day and till today it has not come. I feel harassed & cheated by Tata Sky. I have not watched TV for last 20 days. My old cable guy was far far better in rendering the service. My request to Tata Sky is to refund me the complete money and compensate me for the harrowing and sad experience that they have put me through. My advice to other citizens, who want to take a DTH connection, is not to beleive Tata Sky and stay away from it.

The TataSky Service sucks.... I booked one earlier in Jan, they promissed me with a scheme that was running then, but did not deliver the equipment for almost 2 weeks, after the delivery they refused to give me the scheme...

What's sad is that they keep "promissing" that they will get back to me and they have escalated this to the management, however I guess they do not belive in keeping up with the promises.

I have finally asked them for a refund, and from the amount of difficulty it took me to get the equipment, i guess, it going to be another SAGA..

If this is the SERVICE they provide BEFORE someone becomes a customer, i pity those who already are
