comparison between dishtv and tatasky

I have seen some comments, where customers are asking for better comparison between dishtv and tatasky.
I have both dishtv and tatasky, and based on my experience i am giving you the difference and better option to choose:
First: Number of channels are more in dishtv (178) and tatasky (120)
Second: More number of regional channels for all genres. Tatasky lacks in this
Third: More options in Movie on demand and also choice to see hollywood Movie as well…but Tatasky lacks in this option
Fourth: Cost per movie for movie on demand is less in dishtv Rs.40+taxes for Hindi and Rs.50+taxes for English…..where as tatasky charge Rs.75 for Hindi…No english option…Tata sky lacks here as well.
Fifth: Economical: Dishtv is more economical then tatasky about Rs.1000 also having offer for five months free…but tatasky donot have any offer and are more costlier.
Sixth: Harware of both are same quality.
Seventh: Picture and sound quality is same almost.
Eight: Customer service of dishtv is coming up and having slightly better then tatasky.
These are solely my view on both services might be yours are different from this as well

dishtv recharge voucher

Just for your information, you cannot use dishtv recharge voucher to tatasky and vice-versa its same like you can not use airtel recharge voucher in Hutch.

Dishtv services are really bad

  … i m really not “Santusht”… never give any responses to mails n phone calls.
No service centre in South Delhi.
I recommend not to subscribe Dishtv, go for TataSky…

dish TV requires a bigger dish.

In UAE, dish TV requires a bigger dish. you have to use at least 4-6feet. the orientation is same. NSS06 satellite. pls subscribe to indiabroadbandforums.com which is a online blog to know more about DTH.

dishtv is better then tatasky.

tatasky is always for waiting to cheat the people.all people are saying tatasky picture quality is good,but i do not agree.ts is only providing 140 channelsbut dishtv is providing 180 channels.Enter10,musicindia,tcm,mgm channels are not available on ts.

I have taken a tatasky connection on July’2007 my subscriber ID is 1006533549,they are charging Rs.300/- per month,now they want another subscription fees for neo sports pack @ Rs.199/- per annum, where as we are paying super saver pack price Rs.300/- p.m why they are charging extra amount for another channel.this should be included in the packages and no extra cost to be added
