Government should kick the a** of tatasky for playing with customers. They are offering 6 months subscription free but they are not saying that they are also not having 6 popular channels in their bouquet. Making fool of the customers. I am a customer of the tatasky and befooled by the 6 months free subscription.

Tata Sky is playing with customers and the Government is watching mum like a big fool. In the time when Tatasky need to add many popular channels, they are withdrawing. What the hell they are doing. They should be levied high penalties for that.

tata sky is just fooling around saving money but not passing benefits to consumers.at same price disthtv is showing more chanells. what is use of tatasky when you donot get even channels available on cable. i think no sikh family should buy it as they have pulled plug off etc punjabi showing live gurbani from shri darbar sahib even though it is free to air and available on dd direct plus.

DISH TV in dubai

hi THIS IS FOR ANYONE who wants DISHTV in dubai…..i got it from india for myself but my building management is not allowing me to put it on roof so its useless for me…i bought it with a scheme with all channels free for six months ( u dont have to pay any thing for six months) of which four months afre still left….i am giving it for the sameprice it costed me ( including a 100 cms dish which has to be bought xtra to get good signal in dubai) around 500 DHS……….i will not be installing the thing and it has to be collected from my residence on sheikh zayad rd…….contact me on 050-5046623 on 29th -30th may or leave a sms

Tatasky has not reduced the prices

This is just a eyewash.
I have gone through the judgment of the case (available on net at tdsat.nic.in). This case was filed by TATAKY against Zee for providing them channels with all bouquets at a price of Rs.83.85 and whereas TATASKy wanted only 02 bouquet comprising of 19 channels. Now they will be getting 19 Channels as liked by TATASKY at a price of 50 % of Rs 83.85 i.e. reduction in RS. 42/ per customer.
Tatasky has not reduced the prices and saved RS. 42 per customer. What a trick to earn revenue and be befool customers. I think TRAI should take look into such malpractices suo moto and asked TATASKY to maintain the same channels as offered in the initial package or to reduce the price by same.
The advertisement that TATASKY gave is also eyewash and bad since it influences the customers connoting that Tatasky is helpless since it is court order whereas this is not the case. I hope somebody is looking into it and will take action. I tried to e-mail TRAI but unfortunately mail bounced back.

Consumer is a loser

In this fight of TataSky and Dish, I think that the Consumer is a loser. Tata Sky was prompt in removing the channels from their DTH service without informing the consumers.
While pricing the package they show certail list of channels and then remove them without reducing the pricing or even informing the customers. I think that Tat Sky has been very unprofessional in their approach and are cheating the consumers.
Earlier in the month they had removed Neo sports channels while continuig to show them as a part of packege on their advertisement booklets and website.
Is their a method available to safeguard the consumer interest in this big fight (incidently I had always known that competition leaves consumers more satisfied and not poorer !!!)

Star Channels and Sony PIX, V India and Disney channels

I had the same problem in kuwait. The Star Channels and Sony PIX, V India and Disney channels were not coming..
I just reported it to customer care with my VC Number and after 4 hours I received the reply saying that the Card has been refreshed and I should receive all the channels and !!! Boooooooooommmmmmm…..!!!! I checked and I was able to receive all the missing channels…
I was really impressed with the promptness and action by the customer care. Moreover, Maybe u r hesitant that u ar ein dubai and not to contact Customer care but beleive me, they know where all the DishTV is going the they dont bother about it till your subscription is paid…

You can do this manually. Keep moving the dish & keep someone to check the strength near TV. You can see the signal strength from the installation menu. Even if you get 70%+ signal strength, it’s sufficient. Hope this gets the problem sorted out. Though this is the duty of dishtv, there is no point in waiting for them so long. If they again demand money from you,take them to consumer court. Just by making tis point, I’m sure the problem will get sorted out.

tatasky performs in Bangladesh
